Training Exercise is an exercise in
which the candidate is given basic information about a policy,
procedure, or piece of equipment and allowed some time to prepare a
presentation. Role players or assessors may make up the audience and
may interact with and/or ask questions of the candidate during and/or
after the training presentation is delivered, although such interaction
is usually brief and very likely to consist only of follow-up
questions. The role players or assessors usually represent
subordinates. However, there may be no role play component to the
exercise, and there may be no questions asked of the candidate during or
following his/her presentation (referred to as a “static” exercise).
There may be no one present while the candidate makes his/her
presentation while it is video-recorded for later assessment. This
module does not include any practice exercises or scenarios, so the
purchaser will use actual department policies, procedures, or equipment
instructions to conduct practice.
Each of our Assessment Center/Interview Training Modules include:
- A PowerPoint slide presentation, along with Mr.
Rockhill’s voice-over talking you through what you need to know, do, and
say to prepare for and to excel in your test, structured oral
interview, or assessment center. This includes a detailed description
of the exercises and techniques used by the consultant conducting your
Assessment Center/Interview (if available) or detailed descriptions of
our Universal products.
- Step-by-step "How To" instructions for each type of Assessment Center Exercise/Interview. No other preparation firm can match our detail.
