Subordinate CONFERENCE (Role Play) Exercise (E. B. Jacobs) begins with a preparation phase in which the candidate reviews information about the subordinate and the problems. Candidate then meets with the subordinate (assessor acting as the subordinate role player) in a fully-interactive role play fashion to work out a plan to resolve the problem(s). This exercise is distinct from the E. B. Jacobs “Subordinate Performance Exercise” in that the “Performance” version of this exercise is merely a presentation to the assessors and is not interactive in a role play sense in any way. This module includes 8 practice exercises.
