Our experience began in the mid-1980s with our president, Thomas Rockhill, obtaining his MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and consulting with emergency services organizations regarding promotional systems, to include Written Examinations, Structured Interviews, and Assessment Centers. He put his emergency services command experience and education to use as the project manager for 39 promotional tests and assessment centers for police and fire departments. Since 2000, Mr. Rockhill has devoted his efforts exclusively to preparing emergency services candidates for promotion; and he has conducted more than 700 promotional test/assessment center preparation workshops across the U. S., personally preparing over 19,000 candidates for success in their promotional processes. With 25 years of classroom instruction experience in many cities throughout the United States, Rockhill & Halton, Inc. now offers On-Line Instruction for police, detention, and fire personnel competing for promotions. The principals in this firm have spent years compiling information about the styles and techniques of the major consultants conducting testing and assessment for the emergency services, and our training materials reflect that expertise and knowledge.
